Band - Wednesday Sept. 8

1. Those grade 7 students who missed the band test at Greenfield, Parkside or Elm St. last June are asked to see Mr. Gallant sometime this morning if you would like an opportunity to write the test.

2. Sign-ups start today for students interested in joining SHOWBAND. Sign-up sheets are on the band room door and will stay up until Friday morning.

3. Auditions will be necessary for singers and MAY be necessary for guitar players, drummers, bass players and keyboard players if Mr. Gallant is unfamiliar with your skill level. Information for all of this is on the band room door as well.

4. Remember: if you want to be involved in showband, you MUST sign-up even if you were in showband last year.

5. Band classes will not be held until Day 4 in our schedule. This is in order to give students every opportunity to get to all of their subjects at least once.

6. Students who were in a band program at their previous school and wish to continue in band should check with their homeroom teacher for the band schedule and start attending band classes as of day 4.
