1. No noon rehearsal today.
2. CCR Show rehearsals start tomorrow at noon with houseband - see the poster on the band room door at recess for names.
3. Big thanks to Mrs. Caissy for heading up supervision on the band - couldn't happen without you!! Thanks also to SIS staff Mrs. Boyd and Mr. Vallee for a watching over our gr. 7 and 8's during the Atlantic Band Festival in Halifax!
4. SIS showbands were putting on exhibition performances only since there is no showband class as of yet in the festival, however they did manage to impress the adjudication panel and audiences.
Our Concert bands did exceptionally well also:
- Gr. 7 Band Silver National Standard
- Gr. 8 Band Gold National Standard
- GR. 9 Band Gold National Standard
Both the grade 8 and 9 bands received Invitations to the Nationals in 2011.
